Schauinsland-Reisen opened bookings about a month ago for its summer 2027 programme, which includes two new hotels on the island of Kos. The properties are aimed at travellers seeking distinctive experiences, though no further details on names or specific features were given.

Alongside the expansion in Kos, the German tour operator is strengthening its in-house R2 brand in Mallorca, where three new hotels will open in summer 2027: R2 Paguera Park, aimed at families and couples; R2 Ponent, focused on seaside relaxation; and R2 Morito, combining hospitality with an artistic concept. For vegan travellers, the company is also offering the Girasol hotel, with an all-inclusive vegan menu and half-board options.

Martin Bensing Carvalhal, the company's head of product and contracts, said the new offerings are "targeted additions and valuable enhancements to our already broad portfolio."

The expansion forms part of a wider strategy to serve specialised traveller groups, including families, adults, younger travellers and vegans, with Greece positioned at the centre of the company's new offerings.
