Approval granted for 3-star hotel via change of use in Neochori, Pilio
Volos municipality approved converting a three-storey building in Neochori, Pilio into a 3-star hotel.
The Building Department of Volos municipality issued a preliminary building permit approval for converting an existing three-storey building, constructed before 1955, into a 3-star hotel in Neochori, Pilio.
The approval includes legalization of unauthorized structures as well as completion and repair works. The building is located on a municipal road in the Afetes Municipal Unit of the Municipality of South Pilio, on a plot of 485.70 sq.m. The property owner is listed as Christos Papaioannou.
Total coverage after legalization is calculated at 224.32 sq.m., with 128.39 sq.m. corresponding to the existing structure and 95.93 sq.m. to the legalized areas. Total built area amounts to 387.25 sq.m., with a total above-ground volume of 1,649.04 cubic meters.
The building spans three floors with a maximum height of 10.80 meters. The ground, first and second floors are designated for temporary accommodation use, while auxiliary spaces are located in the basement level.
