BWH Hotels opens @HOME by Best Western in McDonough, Georgia

A new five-story, 128-suite extended-stay hotel has opened in McDonough, the brand's first in the U.S. Southeast.

BWH Hotels announced the opening of @HOME by Best Western McDonough, a newly constructed five-story, 128-suite extended-stay hotel. The property was developed by Raj Patel through Apsilon Hotels, a company that manages 18 hotels in the Atlanta area.

The hotel is located near Exit 216 off Interstate 75, offering access to industrial and distribution facilities, and is close to Historic Downtown McDonough and Atlanta Motor Speedway. Each suite includes a kitchen and workspace, while shared amenities include a lobby market, fitness center, laundry facilities, and storage closets for extended-stay guests.

This marks the second @HOME by Best Western property to open in the United States, following the brand's debut in St. George, Utah, and a recent opening in Walkerton, Canada. A second Atlanta-area property in Fairburn is slated to open in 2027 by the same developer. The company's global extended-stay pipeline is projected to reach 34 hotels and 2,791 rooms by the end of 2026.

Raj Patel, chief executive officer of Apsilon Hotels, said the choice of McDonough was "a strategic choice driven by the area's robust economic growth along the I-75 corridor."
