Capri by Fraser to debut in UK with 2027 London opening

Frasers Hospitality will open its first Capri by Fraser hotel in the UK, in Kensington, in summer 2027.

Frasers Hospitality has announced it will launch its Capri by Fraser brand in the UK with a 180-unit hotel in Kensington, London. The 7,000 sqm property is scheduled to open in summer 2027.

The project involves converting seven restored Victorian buildings, preserving features such as high ceilings, bay windows, statement staircases and stained-glass windows, combined with the technology-driven interiors characteristic of the Capri by Fraser brand.

The hotel will include a guest social hub, a 24-hour gym, a dedicated space for art exhibitions and community events, and additional meeting facilities. Dining will include breakfast and light snacks, along with an evening bar serving cocktails.

As part of its sustainable redevelopment, the property will operate without gas, using air source heat pumps for hot water needs to lower carbon emissions.

The hotel will be the first Capri by Fraser property in the UK, joining existing sites in Berlin, Brisbane, Penang and Singapore. Rebecca Hollants Van Loocke, chief operating officer EMEA for Frasers Hospitality, said the property "is set to become a vibrant hub for curious travellers and locals."
