Chandris plans €60m investment in Milos and Thessaloniki

Chandris Hotels is acquiring the Milos Cove Inception Resort and planning a new five-star hotel in Thessaloniki.

Chandris Hotels is launching a new investment cycle that includes the acquisition of a hotel asset in the Cyclades, the construction of a new five-star property, and the modernization of an existing hotel in Thessaloniki.

The company has agreed to acquire shares of Milos Cove ΑΞΕ, owner of the Milos Cove Inception Resort, for €17 million, with a €3 million advance already paid and completion set for October 2026. The resort, near Komia on Milos, has been operating since 2018 with 42 suites and villas, 84 beds and 39 pools. An Environmental Impact Study has already been approved for an expansion of 17 rooms and 34 beds, raising capacity to 118 beds.

In Thessaloniki, Chandris plans to modernize The Met Hotel, which currently has 212 rooms, and to build a new 97-room five-star property on land co-owned with ΕΒΕΚ. Once completed, the two properties would form a combined hotel core of 309 rooms in the area. A bond loan of up to €39.845 million has been approved for the project, funded through the Recovery Fund and Alpha Bank.

In April 2026, Chandris acquired an 85% undivided share in a multi-storey building adjacent to The Met for €2.0825 million. The group currently operates three hotels in Greece: the Athens Marriott Hotel, The Met Hotel in Thessaloniki, and the Chios Chandris Hotel.
