The new 344-room hotel has opened in the Robertson Quay area, along the Singapore River.

DoubleTree by Hilton has opened in the Robertson Quay precinct, along the Singapore River, marking the brand's debut in the country. The hotel offers 344 rooms and suites ranging from 24 to 50 square meters, with more than 200 overlooking the river.

The property sits within walking distance of neighbourhoods such as Chinatown, Tiong Bahru and Clarke Quay, and is about a five-minute walk from Havelock MRT Station. It also provides convenient access to the Central Business District, Orchard Road and Sentosa.

Room types include King, Queen and Twin Guest Rooms, options with pull-out sofa beds, four Deluxe Suites and 11 connecting rooms for families and groups. The hotel's design features warm earthy tones, terracotta accents, greenery and natural materials.

Alexandra Murray, area vice president and regional head of South East Asia at Hilton, said Singapore "continues to be a key market for Hilton" and that the new hotel "adds a warm new gathering place to the precinct."
