H World Group develops new premium Grand Ji Hotel brand in China

H World Group's new premium brand already counts two hotels with 441 rooms, with 18 more properties in the pipeline.

H World Group, one of the world's largest hotel companies with more than 13,000 hotels, is developing its new premium brand Grand Ji Hotel. As of the end of June, the company had two operating Grand Ji Hotels, totaling 441 rooms, with another 18 properties in the pipeline.

The brand is built around a contemporary interpretation of Chinese hospitality and aesthetics, drawing on elements such as nature, calm, art, food, tea, and interpersonal connection. Its design places emphasis on guest privacy, using light partitions in spaces such as the lobby, breakfast room, and gym.

H World's technology, supply chain, and operating scale provide the infrastructure to consistently execute that vision across a growing brand. Modular design allows more elements to be manufactured in factories before delivery and installation at hotels, improving consistency and simplifying maintenance.

Overall, H World had 13,539 hotels and more than 1.3 million rooms in operation globally as of June 30, with another 3,089 hotels in its pipeline.
