Historic Villa Argentina in Dubrovnik reopens after renovation

Villa Argentina, together with Villa Orsula, has reopened with 109 rooms and suites and joined The Leading Hotels of the World.

The renovation of Villa Argentina in Dubrovnik covered more than 10,000 square meters. Together with Villa Orsula, the renewed complex now comprises 109 rooms and suites.

The hotel has also joined The Leading Hotels of the World, a collection of more than 450 independent luxury hotels in over 80 countries.

Philippe Andre Burq, President of the Management Board of Adriatic Luxury Hotels, said: "With this renovation, we wanted to preserve its unique architecture, artistic heritage and connection to the Dubrovnik landscape."

The renovation blended the property's artistic and architectural heritage with contemporary design. Among its key features is the restored 1967 mosaic "Dubrovačke varijacije" by Croatian painter Ivo Dulčić, returned to its original setting in the wellness area. Around 14,000 plants were integrated into the landscape, and local stone uncovered during the works was reused throughout the complex.

The project was led by Croatian architecture studio 3LHD, working with Dimore Studio on the interior décor.
