IHG signs new Vignette Collection hotel in Madrid
IHG will open the San Bernardo, Vignette Collection hotel in Madrid in March 2028, featuring 67 rooms.
IHG Hotels & Resorts announced it will open the San Bernardo, Vignette Collection hotel in Madrid in March 2028. The building is located on Calle de San Bernardo in central Madrid, close to Gran Vía.
The hotel will include 67 rooms, an internal courtyard, an all-day dining venue, a lounge and bar, and fitness facilities. The property is owned by San Bernardo 19 S.L. and will be operated by Hotel Collection International, one of IHG's largest franchisees in the country.
Willemijn Geels, IHG's vice president of development in Europe, said Madrid "is one of Europe's most dynamic luxury hotel markets" and that the signing "gives us an exceptional opportunity to grow Vignette Collection in the heart of the city."
The opening will add to IHG's 21 properties in Spain, following recent additions including Finca Banyols in Mallorca, Casa del Compositor in Jerez, and Hacienda de la Vega in Carmona.
