Marriott and Özak GYO sign deal for new Ritz-Carlton in Kemer

Marriott and Özak GYO have announced a new Ritz-Carlton resort in Kemer, Antalya, set to open in 2028.

Marriott International and Turkish developer Özak GYO have signed an agreement to develop The Ritz-Carlton, Kemer, All-Inclusive, in the Kemer area of Antalya. The project marks the first collaboration between the two companies, according to Ömer İsvan and Ayla Heyfegil of Servotel, which brokered the deal.

The resort is expected to open in 2028 and will be located between a forested landscape and more than 1.2 kilometers of coastline. Plans call for 141 guestrooms and suites, along with a collection of villas ranging from one to five bedrooms.

According to the plans, the resort will operate on an all-inclusive basis and will include dining and bar venues, a fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa, a kids club and a sports center with tennis and padel courts.

Neal Jones, President for Europe, Middle East & Africa at Marriott, said the signing 'reflects our continued focus on expanding Marriott's luxury portfolio in sought-after leisure destinations.' Özak GYO Chairman Ahmet Akbalık said the company is 'entering a new segment of luxury hospitality,' building on experience from its first luxury resort opened in 2004.
