New hotel openings for September 2026 include Nírema on Samos
Among the new hotels opening internationally in September 2026 is Nírema Hotel & Spa Samos, part of the MGallery Collection.
Nírema Hotel & Spa Samos, part of the MGallery Collection, opens as a seaside property framed by the Aegean Sea and the Ampelos mountains. Its name derives from the Samian word for 'dream'. The hotel features 72 rooms with panoramic views over Vathy Bay and the surrounding hills, with eight suites including private pools and terraces, plus a beachfront area reserved for guests.
The roundup also lists other new hotel openings and projects worldwide for the same month. In Mexico, Viceroy Los Cabos is undergoing an upgrade project that preserves its distinctive architecture, while in Estonia, the wellness retreat Eha is preparing to open with a five-season retreat programme.
In Denmark, the CORI Hornbæk Hotel opens on Hornbæk Beach, 40 minutes from Copenhagen, with 77 rooms and suites and five townhouse apartments designed by Afroditi Krassa. In the US, Blue Flag Capital announced the opening of Oyster Estate, a 34-key boutique hotel in Greenport Village.
In Madrid, the city's first Nobu Hotel opened with 50 rooms in the Las Cortes district, while in Murcia, Spain, the city's first five-star hotel, Palacio San Juan, part of the Royal Hideaway collection, opened following a restoration of a historic building.
