New Wildhive Eshott Hall to open in December with new general manager

Countryside hotel Wildhive Eshott Hall, in Northumberland, England, has announced the appointment of Ewan Taylor as general manager ahead of its launch in December.

Taylor joins from Oriental Residence Bangkok, where he served as general manager, bringing almost two decades of experience in luxury hospitality across South East Asia. Over his career, he has been involved in openings and repositionings of hotels, from townhouses to island resorts.

In his new role, Taylor will lead the pre-opening team, overseeing recruitment, training and operational set-up ahead of the launch, and will take on day-to-day management of the hotel once it opens.

Taylor said: "I'm delighted to be joining Wildhive Eshott Hall after almost 20 years working in Asia." Ed Burrows, managing director of The Wildhive Collection, said Taylor's experience with hotel openings would be valuable as the group expands.
