Nobu announces new hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico
Nobu Hospitality has announced its first hotel and restaurant in Puerto Rico, scheduled to open in 2028.
Nobu Hospitality has announced plans for a new hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico, scheduled to open in 2028. It will be the brand's first hotel and restaurant on the island.
The hotel will include a signature Nobu restaurant and bar at street level, along with a rooftop lounge and bar. The design will combine San Juan's local history and heritage with Nobu's contemporary aesthetic.
Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality, said Puerto Rico has long been "one of the Caribbean's most compelling destinations" and that the new property allows the company "to become part of one of the region's most storied neighborhoods."
Joakim Lehmkuhl, Managing Partner of KTT, noted that "few places in the Caribbean combine culture, history, and energy the way San Juan does," adding that the investment "reflects the kind of investment we believe the city deserves."
