Nowhere Private Island opens in the Maldives as .Here's second island

Here has opened Nowhere Private Island in Baa Atoll, completing a two-island concept with just nine residences in total.

Here Baa Atoll Maldives has announced the opening of Nowhere Private Island, the group's second private island, located within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll. The island joins Somewhere, which opened in December 2025, together forming a two-island concept with just nine private residences in total.

Nowhere comprises two residences: the five-bedroom Presidential Residence, spanning more than 25,800 square feet, and the three-bedroom Overwater Residence, offering over 10,000 square feet. The island includes a private cinema, fitness studio, steam and sauna facilities, and the exclusive Fehi Wellness couples treatment room.

The architecture is by Christopher Chua of KulörGroup, with interiors by Inge Moore and Muza Lab drawing on natural materials and tonal palettes inspired by the surroundings. According to the announcement, material selection, building placement and scale were guided by a commitment to preserving the island's ecosystem.

Guests have access to the SAFAR restaurant, led by executive chef Georgios Vasilopoulos, along with a dedicated butler service and 24-hour in-residence dining. Despite being designed around complete seclusion, Nowhere remains connected to sister resort Finolhu, where guests have complimentary access to dining and wellness facilities.
