OTH Hotels Resorts Adds Two Hotels, One to Be Rebranded

OTH Hotels Resorts has added two hotels in Kentucky and North Carolina, with one property set to be rebranded as The Franklin Hotel.

OTH Hotels Resorts announced the addition of two new hotels to its portfolio, located in Kentucky and North Carolina, adding a combined 275 guestrooms.

The first is the Capital Plaza Hotel, a historic 10-story property in downtown Frankfort built in 1983 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2024. In early 2027, the property is slated to complete an extensive renovation and rebranding as The Franklin Hotel, featuring 163 redesigned guestrooms, refreshed public spaces and a new restaurant concept.

Scott McMahon, chief development officer of OTH Hotels Resorts, said: "We are incredibly excited to oversee the transformation and introduction of The Franklin Hotel to the Frankfort market."

The second hotel joining the portfolio is the 112-room Four Points by Sheraton Greensboro Airport, located near First Horizon Coliseum and North Carolina A&T State University. It includes an on-site restaurant and bar, a fitness center, a heated outdoor pool and about 1,184 square feet of meeting and event space.

OTH Hotels Resorts will oversee all aspects of operations at both properties, including staffing, revenue management, sales and marketing, and guest experience.
