Rimrock Banff opens as Emblems Collection's North American debut

The historic resort in Banff National Park has reopened following an extensive renovation under Accor's Emblems Collection brand.

Rimrock Banff, Emblems Collection, has opened in Banff National Park, marking the North American debut of Accor's Emblems Collection brand. The longstanding resort has undergone an extensive transformation that reconnects it with its mountain setting.

Maud Bailly, CEO of Emblems Collection, said Rimrock Banff "is a wonderful expression of the Emblems philosophy: an established property with a character of its own, deeply connected to its destination." It is the brand's second global opening, following Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa in the English countryside.

The resort features 320 guestrooms, including 57 suites, designed around views of the Bow Valley. Its most notable accommodation, the Infinity Two-Bedroom Suite, opens onto a wraparound terrace of more than 1,260 square feet with a barrel sauna and fire table.

Central to the resort is the 9,600-square-foot Bathhouse, introducing Banff's first luxury hydrothermal wellness experience, with indoor and outdoor thermal pools, a salt sauna, steam room and cold plunges.
