Rotana signs new Edge hotel in Beirut
Rotana has signed an Edge hotel in Beirut with partner Achrafieh 5418, set to open in January 2027.
Hotel management company Rotana has announced the signing of a new Edge hotel in Beirut, in partnership with Achrafieh 5418 SAL. The existing 85-unit property will expand to 95 units, gain new meeting spaces, and undergo a full renovation. The opening is planned for January 2027.
Rotana's chief operating officer, Eddy Tannous, said: "Rotana was built in this region, and our belief in its long-term potential has never changed."
The signing forms part of Rotana's broader regional growth this year, which includes Bloom Arjaan by Rotana and Rotana Ras Al Khaimah – The Mangroves in the UAE, as well as Edge Riyadh – Al Rabie and The Residences by Rotana in Saudi Arabia.
Makram El Zyr, corporate vice president for development, noted that "hospitality development in the region is becoming much more diverse," with no single growth model. Rotana operates six brands: Rotana Hotels & Resorts, Centro Hotels, Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts, Arjaan Hotel Apartments, Edge by Rotana, and The Residences by Rotana.
