Sani/Ikos Group advances new resorts in Greece, Spain and Portugal
The group announces the opening of Ikos Kissamos and the upcoming Ikos Marbella, Ikos Cortesia and Ikos Kassandra by 2029.
The Sani/Ikos Group announced, through its 2025 ESG report, the continuation of its development strategy in Greece, Spain and Portugal. Upcoming milestones include the opening of Ikos Kissamos at the end of April, as well as the new Ikos Marbella, Ikos Cortesia and Ikos Kassandra resorts, with operations scheduled for the 2026-2029 period.
The group notes that the development of new units comes alongside sustainability targets, including net zero carbon emissions by 2030. At the same time, new destinations are being added to the group's development plans, with sustainability cited as a key parameter in both the construction and operation of the new hotel units.
The report states that Scope 1 emissions rose by 30% compared to 2024, an increase the group attributes mainly to construction work and demolitions linked to its expansion.
