SONO Moon brand to debut in Bali in 2027

SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia has signed a hotel management agreement with PT Drupadi Management for SONO Moon Bali Seminyak, a 225-room lifestyle hotel targeted to open in the first quarter of 2027.

Located in central Seminyak, the hotel is being created through the repositioning of an existing property under the SONO Moon brand, marking the brand's debut in Bali.

The hotel will feature 225 rooms, two swimming pools, a gym, spa, kids' club, meeting facilities and all-day dining. As part of the repositioning, selected spaces will be reimagined with new lifestyle and commercial offerings.

Jihong An, SVP of SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia, said Indonesia is an important growth market for the company and that Bali remains one of the region's strongest international destinations. Herry Budiman, president director of PT Drupadi Management, said SONO Moon is a strong fit for both the property and Seminyak, bringing a contemporary lifestyle identity.
