TUI Blue to open 290-room hotel in Golden Sands, Bulgaria in 2027
TUI announced a new TUI Blue hotel on Bulgaria's northern Black Sea coast, part of a growth plan for the country through 2030.
TUI Group is planning to strengthen its presence in Bulgaria, aiming to increase the number of travelers to the Black Sea coast by 2030. The plan includes additional flight connections, new tourism products and expansion of its hotel portfolio, in cooperation with Bulgaria's Ministry of Tourism.
As part of this plan, a new TUI Blue hotel with 290 rooms is scheduled to open in summer 2027 in Golden Sands, on Bulgaria's northern Black Sea coast. With the new property, TUI's branded hotel portfolio in the country will grow to five.
Meanwhile, the group's tour operator brands already offer around 220 hotels from more than 150 partners in the country, with new offerings planned around culture, nature, wellness, city breaks and gastronomy.
TUI Group CEO Sebastian Ebel said that "Bulgaria has tremendous potential as a tourist destination."
