Accor opens first Mövenpick hotel in Montenegro

Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Teuta Kotor Bay has opened in Kotor Bay, featuring 151 rooms and 66 residences.

Accor has opened the first hotel of its Mövenpick brand in Montenegro, the Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Teuta Kotor Bay, located in Kotor Bay. The property is situated in the historic coastal town of Risan, near Tivat airport, in an area that includes UNESCO World Heritage sites.

The complex comprises 151 rooms and 66 residences with one to three bedrooms. Its design draws on traditional Montenegrin architecture, incorporating natural materials such as stone.

Amenities include an infinity pool overlooking the bay, a private beach club with a sandy beach, a spa with a heated indoor pool and sauna, and a kids' club. The dining concept focuses on local Adriatic flavors alongside Swiss specialties.

Accor recently reopened the historic Rimrock Banff in Canada under its Emblems Collection brand, as part of the group's expansion into new markets.
