Hotel Indigo Brand Opens Its 200th Hotel Worldwide

IHG announced that its Hotel Indigo brand has reached 200 open hotels worldwide, with 134 more in development.

IHG Hotels & Resorts announced that its lifestyle brand Hotel Indigo has opened its 200th hotel worldwide, doubling in size since reaching 100 open hotels in 2019. The company still has 134 Hotel Indigo properties in its development pipeline.

Launched in 2004, the brand now has a presence in more than 30 countries, with each property designed to reflect the culture and history of its surroundings. Over the past two years it has debuted in the Caribbean, Portugal, and Peru.

Vicki Poulos, vice president of luxury & lifestyle brands at IHG, said reaching 200 open hotels "is a significant moment for Hotel Indigo and a testament to the strength of the brand."

Expansion continues across the Americas, EMEAA, and Greater China, with recent openings including Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos Grace Bay, Hotel Indigo Raleigh in North Carolina, and Hotel Indigo Bangkok Thonglor, alongside signings for new properties in Costa Rica, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, where the brand is set to debut in 2026 with Hotel Indigo Riyadh Al Olaya.

Hotel Indigo Raleigh, cited among the brand's recent openings, was previously reported separately as a $36 million renovation of a 1969 building into a 204-room boutique hotel.
