Ink48 in New York to become MGallery Collection's US flagship
MGallery Collection announced a deal for Ink48 in Manhattan, which will join the brand as its US flagship in 2028.
MGallery Collection announced the signing of Ink48, a hotel in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan, overlooking the Hudson River. The property will continue to operate independently while undergoing a renovation program, before officially joining MGallery Collection as the brand's U.S. flagship hotel in 2028, managed by Rebel Hotel Company.
Ink48 is located on Manhattan's West Side, near Times Square, Hudson Yards and Broadway. It includes 222 guestrooms, including 17 suites, a rooftop bar, a restaurant, and meeting facilities, along with approximately 6,000 square feet of event space.
Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel Legend, Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems, said that "welcoming Ink 48 into the MGallery Collection represents a significant step forward for our brand in North America." Andres Ramirez of Capstone Equities said the hotel "has always stood apart in Manhattan's hotel landscape, a property with a genuine sense of place and a loyal following." Henry Zavriyev of Leyad said "Ink48 has always had the fundamentals to justify it."
Following the signing, the hotel will undergo renovation to introduce MGallery's brand touchpoints, while continuing to operate independently until its reopening under the MGallery banner in 2028.
